In an exclusively private meeting with its secret anonymous creators, Instagram’s parent owner, Meta, has announced its plans to launch a text-based conversation app much like Twitter.
The upcoming leaked screenshot of the alleged app shows a UI that is strikingly like that of Twitters.
In March this year, Platformer was the first to report that Meta ideating building a Instagram text based app.

Instagram’s idea to doppel gang Twitter with their Instagram text based app was first reported by Lia Haberman, an influencer marketer and social media marketing training expert teaching at the University of California, Los Angeles Extension.
Haberman feels this Instagram text based app would be built on top of Instagram, will be decentralized and function as a separate app.
The Instagram text based app will be compatible with other such decentralized social media apps like Mastodon for better outreach.

The app is planning to display a very Twitter-like centralized news feed, allowing its users to scroll down content such as text, images, and videos shared by the legit followers and other such recommended accounts on this Instagram text-based app.
